On 20th August 2001, Anne Jones took part in the Mind Sports Olympiad, London. This is an event which tests the ability of individuals with extraordinary communication, memory and assimilation skills. Together with other competitors, Anne was given an unpublished book to read. After completing 46,012 words in 20 minutes 30 seconds, Anne proved that she had an overall sixty per cent comprehension of the subject matter. Anne Jones is the World Speed Reading Champion. She has gained gold medals at the Mind Sports Olympiad for the last five years. Anne is an accredited instructor of Tony Buzan's techniques for improving the use and power of the mind.
